So I tried walking up the stairs as a routine lots of walking deep cleaning just to try and get baby boy out by or before his due date which was yesterday (May 7th) and nothing I did have my membrane stripped on Thursday just 3days ago but nothing really happened so got disappointed. already had an induction date for tonight at 12am Going into Monday. I've been induced with my other 2 pregnancies & was really hoping to have this one without being induced. so yesterday evening I bounced on the edge of my bed for about 3 mins since I don't have a birthing ball. 30 mins later I started feeling which I thought were Braxtons by 9pm they still kept coming and going nothing painful so didn't think much of them since on Monday the beginning of the week I got false contractions. so as I was about to go to bed I bounced on the edge of my bed for about 2mins and then finally decided to go to bed which was at 12am. By 230 am I woke up to the uncomfortable feeling of what I thought were false contractions again. so I got up walked around thinking they'd go away like they did 3days ago, but instead they didn't. I then noticed they were getting stronger and a Lil more painful I then woke my SO up & told him it just might be time and to get the kids things ready to drop them off at their grandma's while mommy gets checked out. I got in a hot shower which helped relieve them for that moment but once I got out I was back to feeling them again but stronger. I then got myself ready and called the hospital I'm setup at (which is 30 mins away) they said they would have things ready just in case I am in active labor once I get there. I got there at 6am got checked in by then my "false contractions" were unbearably strong i went up to OB & got changed and checked I was told I was at a 7 almost 8cm dilated. 2 and a half hrs later at 842am I delivered (vaginally) a healthy baby boy weighing 8lbs & of course with the help of an epidural. So blessed for this perfect Mothers Day but best of all for this biggest blessing of a gift I got. I guess he decided to come the day before I had to come and get induced! I'll say the bouncing just might have been the magic to it all!! 💙💯
