It's starting to hurt my feelings how some people are acting towards me this Mother's Day...I posted earlier about how my boyfriend hasn't paid any attention to what today is and he still hasn't said anything to me. Well, now several of my boyfriends family members have told me things like "next year it'll be your first Mother's Day!" and "Next year you'll be a mom" and things like that...no. This is my first Mother's Day. My daughter exists. I may not have given birth yet but I've had a harder pregnancy than anyone I know in either of our families and I have had to do so many things to make sure my baby will be healthy. Besides normal pregnancy pain, I have other pain every single day that has made it impossible to live my life normally, and I STILL have to go through all of the pain of labor. But I'm not a real mother yet I guess.
