so fucking beyond irritated (excuse my language)... Today is the 3rd day my daughter has this rash with a high fever. I have been able to keep it kinda down by alternating between Tylenol and ibprofen. I took her to the ER first night it was no where near as this bad but they gave her a steroid it went down 2nd night rash came back ten times worse with a fever of 103 I gave her benadryl and it kinda went down we woke up this morning and the rash looked like this I took her to her actual doctor my daughter was running a 104 fever and they could not give me answers they don't know what it is and it's def not going away and her fever is still going up I am still going back and forth with the medicines. I seriously have no idea what to do at this point
It looks like allergies. My son had the same rash mostly on his face when he was born. But they only gave him Benadryl until he was a year old they tested him. Turned out he was allergic to formula milk & well pretty much all kinds of different milk. But they won't test for allergies until they are a year old. It's so stupid. I hope she gets better but I do believe it's an allergy to something.
@anap1012, they gave me a special prescription lotion for the itching it's not the pink stuff but the doc said it could be a possibility but she has taken it before and it didn't happen so that's why they didn't diagnose her with a allergic reaction to that because of the high fever they did put possible allergic reaction but if the steroids don't work by tomorrow it's not it she said @anap1012
Then she might have been allergic! Does she scratch it? We put this pink lotion all over my brothers body to help with the itching.
she was taking amoxacillin for a ear infection but she needed up getting this rash the very last day of taking the medicine doctor said it is a possibility but she prescribed a steroid just in case but it don't seem to be helping yet if it even will @anap1012
That's so odd..ill keep her in my thoughts. Poor baby girl I hope she feels better soon!
