Has anyone tried any kind of activities to make the baby move? I read somewhere about consuming sweet things.. but I'm not sure if this works. (if it does, I'll finish off my ice cream, a pack of sugar and the cheesecake I made *probably end up with dodgy tummy after that*) But one thing I tried yesterday was to play music and place headphones on my tummy. I did get a few pokes. 😊 (I know the sound of the music will sound muffled but maybe the baby thought it was interesting )

Baby is still very small and probably moving near enough constantly but you wont be able to feel much for a good few weeks yet xxx

@zaralee71, I thought of playing the piano but I don't think the baby would be able to hear that clearly unless I use headphones on my tummy, that's what I did. Haha xx

@mioaurellia I listened to classical music throughout my whole pregnancy as I love music anyway :) She loved it :) It is also great for brain development :) Maya falls asleep to classical music :) I play her the Fantasia Movie before bed and it really calms her down x

@mioaurellia I love piano and violin music :) Yeah..the sound is muffled :) I don't think they recognise sound until much later on though :) Talk to bubba :) he/she will then learn your voice :) xx

@firsttimemummy21, I know the baby is still very small but its sense of hearing has been developing. And if by listening to music can make him/her move in my tummy, I don't mind doing it. Who knows the more he/she listens to music, the more talented he/she will be. 😄 Though I did that one with headphones to my tummy and I did get a few flutters after that. @winterbaby95 Haha yeah, I've been playing piano since I was 7 and I thought of teaching my child piano as well when he/she grows up. xx

playing the piano is a great idea! xx

@zaralee71 but the distance from piano to my tummy won't be a problem? as the sound my baby hears are muffled so if there's a distance in between, I think it will make it more difficult for my baby to pick up? haha! xx I sound silly !

@mrsmowmow, that's one cheeky child! when my baby gets bigger and my bump is big enough, I'm going to "tickle" my baby so it'll move!

I don't think it will be a problem hun xx

@firsttimemummy21. Baby is able to detect limited sounds. I'm just introducing more like music which I think won't do any harm.
