For those mothers who are breastfeeding, when did you start getting your period after birth?
my baby boy is 8month I am breastfeeding and I did not get my periods yet. ...and no I am not pregnant.
I have seen 4 doctors already and I am getting the same answer : since I am breastfeeding its a normal thing.
Did anyone get their period while breastfeeding?

So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
When did you get your BFP? I am 4 days late for my period which is uncommon because I am very regular! I took a test today after work and it was a negative? Could I still be pregnant? When did you get your BFP?

while breastfeeding u don't get ur period as u cannot conceive while breastfeeding it's a chemical reaction in the brain that prevents periods while breastfeeding.

at the begging I was scared but now I got used :(

what scares me is that I can get pregnant while breastfeeding even thought I am not getting my period :(

there is a flaw in ypur logic.. it is possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding. there are several mom's on this app that are breastfeeding a child while expecting a baby. breastfeeding is not garenteed contriceptive.

I can prove that post wrong @alexis_k bc i got pregnant while breastfeeding my daughter. I got pregnant when my daughter was about 9- 10months old.
also I hear from my friends and family members that womens CAN get pregnant while breastfeeding.

yes, you can get pregnant while breastfeeding. a co-worker of mine is pregnant right now and she breastfeeds

that breastfeeding rule only applys for the first 6 months & if you are exclusively breastfeeding night & day. the problem with it is you don't know when you will ovulate again which is usually when females get pregnant. @alexis_k @tinushja84 my mother got pregnant with my brother when I was 6 months old & she was exclusively breastfeeding me.

My menstrual cycle did not start until my baby was weaned... The longest was two years(let's see how long lo goes this time). My mom got pregnant while exclusively breastfeeding, so it's possible just hasn't happened with me.
