Question to mom's who have had epidural,
does it hurt when you start to push?
like so far I haven't felt a thing when they checked my cervix and all that, but I'm curious if it's different when you're pushing .-.
Birthing positions. For those who had a vaginal delivery, what position were you in when you pushed bubba out?
Push present Is anyone getting or requesting a push present?
stupid question? when it comes time to push during delivery, how do you push and all that?
If i can recommend anything when you’re in labor... it’s to wait until your body tells you to push to start pushing. With Logan i pushed when the nurses told me to right when i got to 10 cm. I pushed for 45 min and tore. With Finley i pushed when i had to and he was out in 2 pushes, no tearing.

I'm a FTM and nervous about this too! Honestly what freaks me out is the catheter 😁 I know I won't feel it but just knowing I'll have to get one makes me squirm lol

I felt a little pressure but it was ultimately pain free once I got the epidural. I was talking and laughing in between pushing. The only bad part was running out of breath, and that's nothing!

You will feel pressure but it shouldn't hurt!

I had really bad contractions before the epidural kicked in. @karnamarie and IV was so bad for me too

Honestly by the time it was time for the epidural your contractions are gonna be so bad and epidural feels like nothing. For me the damn IV was the worst part!
