Ladies I need your advice, so the baby got his 2 months shots today. He cried a lot earlier and I put a warm water bag on his little leg, gave him a warm bath and a little itty bit of Tylenol. It seemed like his little leg was hurting a lot like I couldn't touch it he would squirm. I just now read that I should of massaged it right after 😭. Is there anything I can do now to help him? He's asleep but I know he'll wake up soon to feed and it broke my heart to see him in pain. Please HELP
3 to 4 days 😭😭😭😭🤕 oh my goodness I thought he be good tomorrow .... @skyy12221
@ladyb3lle, you're welcome and the pain and agitation should go away within a few days I'd say 3 to 4 that's when my son would go back to normal but if you see your son isn't in pain he wouldn't need the Tylenol. I'd give my son Tylenol the day of the shots and maybe the day after depending on his demeanor. Now that he's bigger I don't even give him Tylenol he'll cry after the shot and be running around with his happy self when we get home.
Thank you so much ladies @skyy12221 @marce88 he just woke up now, I'm feeding him as soon as he's done I'll give him the dose and massage the area is he's asleep. @Sky y12221 how long does this last ?
@ladyb3lle, yes and massage the area. That way it won't hurt as much after the medicine kicks in. I'm holding my daughter now while she's asleep and massaging her and she hasn't moved
I never massaged my sons legs after shots I just gave him Tylenol and lots of cuddles and he was fine. He'd be moody, cling to me and sleep a lot, never in his life had a fever he only had one and that was the day he was born absolutely none after that. He was a chunky one lol so instead of one ml of Tylenol he needed 5. I'm probably the only mother that laughs when their child gets shots, his cry and lip pout was hilarious I couldn't contain myself. He's 19 months now and I still laugh.
@ladyb3lle, lol all babies are different! he could be good tomorrow you just have to see he still might be sensitive tomorrow or might not. you'll both will be okay just pay attention to how he does for the next few days so when he gets his 4 month shots you'll know what to expect I hope that helps 😊
