I had my daughter Friday, she latches on perfect but I don't think she's getting enough, she wakes up feeds for 15 to 30 mins at a time, till she falls back asleep or just moves away, but she cries and cries till I latch her back.. this is my first time breastfeeding so I'm nervous she's not getting feed all the way!
My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭
omg... I'm so depressed my child cries more than she doesnt..The only time she's not crying is when she's alsleep.. but she only sleeps 30 minutes each time. she won't sit in her carseat, her crib, pack n play , her swing, bouncer nothing!!! I have to hold ger 24/7 even when she's sleeping or else she will wake up. I'm tired I don't get any sleep nothing soothes her I don't even remember the last time I had enough time to bathe :'( I love her so much but this is so challenging
I can't wait for my eldest to get over this jealousy phase. I feel like I'm not bonding enough with my newborn because she cries and I don't wanna make her feel left out, so instead I just feed the baby and put her back down (thankfully she doesn't cry) and spend more time with her. She cries through her feedings and try to push her away from me. She stuck on my arm the entire time I'm feeding her. I just wanna hold my baby and snuggle her with kisses without the crying.
I don't get it 😯😩 My baby used to LOOOVE bath time & now she cries the entire time ! Could it be because she's going through a leap ?! 😢

my daughter did that all night last night and she is 5 weeks today prolly just cluster feeding (:

yeah youll have to suffer through the cluster feeds my baby cluster fed for a whole week but once she got on a schedule she was all good

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, thank you I was wondering if it was normal or not, but I figured she was atleast getting something bc I ate a fiber bar, to help us both use the bathroom and she went right away! I don't drink anything but water, so I'm just worrying myself lol ill give it some more time!

It's completely normal for baby to do cluster feeds. It's her helping you produce more milk. The first few weeks are tough because it will feel like baby is ALWAYS at beast but this is normal. Continue nursing her on demand. Remember to stay extra hydrated (with water- coffee/caffeine will dehydrate you) & eat an extra 200-500 calories a day of healthy snacks to help boost supply. You're doing great momma!
