anybody have sleep apnea? I'm starting to think I do sometimes at night when I sleping deep I will wake up startled gasping for air everyone it happens I smack my bf to help me but he's half sleep and useless lol but when it happens it's as if I'm gasping for air from being suffocated it's very scary happens more so when I have a cold and can't breath through my nose if I'm not sick it will happen every now and then,so scary

@crazytoast, can it go away?,I just read the symptoms on line I have a few they mentioned @nichole_lynn that's what I worry about I'm scared I won't start breathing again it's hard to calm your self and catch a breath
@nichole_lynn, my grandpa was told that men do die from it quite often in their sleep because he denied having it and his doctor got pissed and told him it's a serious medical condition. I mean it's better to rule it out by having the test done, and at least you would then know if there needs to be something else done because that really can't be healthy for him. Yeah watching my brother sleep was really traumatic, the amount of time he would go without breathing was super scary. Sometimes it wouldn't even wake him up he would just do a little gasp and go back to not breathing 😒 maybe that's why I'm always watching to make sure my boyfriends breathing at night.
at first when we got married and it happened I freaked out and woke him, that's why I'm trying for him to get one done. it worries me that one time he might not start breathing again. sorry that's a little dramatic but its crazy scary. @crazytoast
Definitely do a sleep test and your husband too if he hasn't @nichole_lynn a machine may be necessary to help but it's really not healthy to quit breathing like that because you'll never get good sleep. My brother had it because of his tonsils when he was a kid and they said even if he slept a full eight hours it was actually more like two to three because he was waking up so often from not breathing. It's definitely nothing to mess around with.
happened to me and my Dr gave me an inhaler that for, our other was a sleep study. def tell your Dr!

I hate it so much it's so scary guess I'll have to find a doctor to check me out I'm sure they would make me do a sleep study
my husband has it, he does the same thing you do. He will suddenly gasp for air and start breathing again. idk what to do for him or what you should do. but it is super scarym

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
@mrsmoore, it did for my brother once he had his tonsils out but for some people I think it's just about managing it.
