Question to you mommas 😊 when did your babies start to sit up on their own? My daughter is trying so hard to sit up on her own and she's 4 months. Like... REALLY trying lol. She gets her body about half way up before she goes back down and gets so mad 😂

My girl was sitting up for a couple minutes at a time without support at 4 months (if she got distracted by something she would lean and fall over lol), by 5 months she was quite good at it if I sat her down on the floor, and by 6 months she was able to get up and down from a sit herself 😊 it's different for all babies though, and the actual average for being able to sit up completely unassisted is around 8 months of age!

My daughter tries it now, and she's only 3 months! I can put the boppy pillow behind her and sit her completely up and she'll lean forward and do it by herself :)

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
