hey mamas & mamas to be, I have a really TMI question.. I hope someone can help. So I was put on bed rest early on and was restricted on activity, including sex, due to placenta previa. Thankfully the placenta moved and I was okay'd to have sex a few weeks ago. Well we just tried for the first time in many weeks and omg..it HURT. really badly. Like it felt like I was tearing on the inside. I don't even remember sex hurting that bad when I lost my V card! Anyways, we tried several different positions and same thing, it just hurt like hell. I am of course going to ask my doctor but has anyone experienced this? I'm 36.5 weeks pregnant and I just feel absolutely horrible, my poor boyfriend has been there for every single thing during this whole pregnancy and I feel like I've been depriving him of sex, and I miss it too! But it hurt so incredibly bad when he wasn't even halfway in, I don't know what to do! Again sorry for the TMI content but can anyone shed light on this situation until I can bring it up to my doc in a couple days? 😔

@mommameaghann thanks for the suggestion! We were gonna get lube then try again later. So coconut oil sounds like a good idea. @annettasmommy I think part of my problem is that I'm nervous and I just tense up really bad. It's not like we've never had sex before! Haha obviously. I just don't get why I feel so nervous
Some women (me being one) tend to be really dry during pregnancy, and we can't have sex without using coconut oil as a natural lubricat. Definitely mention it to your doctor though!
I may not be able to tell you why it happened but I was in the same boat cuz i had a low laying placenta. my husband and I hadn't had sex since January and we were finally cleared 3 weeks ago. when we first tried it was AWFUL and hurt really bad. and didn't try for another two week partly cuz i had the flu but our second time trying was better. I would talk to your doctor but if you don't want to wait I would say try again. I think my issue was I was sick (and didn't know it) and I was nervous
