So today when my doctor checked my cervix, I was dilated 1cm.... Ever since I've been bleeding but it's very light.... Every other time he's checked I've never bled. Does this mean that I'm going to go into labor soon!!!!!?????!!!!
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Is it just my docs? Idk why, but every time I go to the doctor they just check my blood pressure, weight, urine, baby's heartbeat, and send me on my way!
Had my cervix checked (at hospital) on Sunday 1cm dilated.... go today my doc says I’m not dilated at all . Ummmmmmmmm 🤷🏾 ♀

Tomorrow my OB is going to start checking my cervix. I've had it checked once when I was around 31 weeks cause I was having mild contractions. It hurt like a b****!!! Really not looking forward to it like at all. Plus I've been extremely sore down there. At least let me get something out of it. I really REALLY don't want her to check me & im not dilated at all. Knowing me, I'll cry and I don't want to cry for nothing lmao. 😖😖

No I had him at 39 w 5 d but I had to labor at home for 3 days in unbearable pain bc I wasn't dilating past 1 but finally jumped to 4 on the third day of having severe back labor and contractions. It was horrible

@gionna_sav, no more spotting... Woke up to a contraction though and can't get comfortable at all now. Dang it!!!!!
@xoamac yeah, I was really hoping it meant I was about to go into labor!!!! Just so anxious to meet this guy 😕

No. It just means your cervix was irritated

@karnamarie, he's been moving fine all day. Even still. I guess I'll try and get some sleep and see how in the morning is. Thanks for the help!

@jordangirl0415 If your not having contractions just see if your still spotting in the morning and then call. Make sure you keep attention to fetal movement if you start to notice that the baby isn't active after trying to get the baby to move (drinking cold water or juice) then go in immediately

If its a bright red and there are more than a few spots I'd at least call L&D. But if its just spotting it could be part of your mucus plug or irritation from the exam.

@karnamarie, like 5 hours ago it was very faint light pink, then maybe 3 it was red, and now it's light pink again and very faint. Any idea???

it could but it could be that your cervix is just irritated from being checked
