So my mother in law keeps trying to tell me that the things I'm pricing are too much. The Graco 4ever being $300 each is too much, they have ones cheaper than that, something with the cribs, blah blah blah!
Well first of I'm aware they have cheaper car seats and cribs, but they don't last as long, have as many features, or even all that great of quality. Secondly, I'm not putting my kids in just anything that's considered a car seat or crib. And last but not least, my all time favorite, WHO'S BUYING IT? ME! Their mom. Oh okay.
Just be a grandmother lady. PLEASE just be a granny!

I'm not afraid to admit this but this happened to me and I let it get to me then I started thinking I wasn't good enough for my daughter I got depressed contemplated suicide but my daughter saved me that day cause she looked at me and smiled her two toothed grin she was rocking and I just picked her up out of her crib and cried because I let a old bitch get to me and I was thinking of leaving my daughter behind because I thought I wasn't good enough for her @dang_dridri please don't let her get to you Hun please

But it saves $ in the long run, you are the one that has to use it and feel comfortable in the long run. There are so many people who have opinions, but at the end of the day they are your babies

@booboolanii, RIGHT! And it's like everything I'm trying to get, I'm trying to do it the smart way. I'm not trying to buy a new car seat or bed every so often. That's more expensive. Especially for two!

@lalamichelle0707, yaaaaasss! Thank you. 👏🏽 I'm not spending a lot on EVERY thing, just things that really matter or that could be used for awhile.

Girl i've heard the same thing from my mil! And we've been called "picky" cause we told her we wanted to purchase the bigger things. Cause of the same reasons you rather buy them lol

@floress_j, yaaaasss! Cause obviously she'll put my kids in anything that's a reasonable price. Like she thinks the twins can sleep in a crib together, no ma'am. She had her last kid in 93, SHITS CHANGED! 🙄

Lol i really don't mind spending the extra money on important things like a carseat for example. I'm not going to put my baby in a flimsy ass carseat that might even break if its dropped on the floor.. hell no lol i really do agree with you!!! At the end of the day you're the one spending the money, everyone can stick their opinions up their ass. Then you get the people that say you're so dumb for spending so much on a certain something when its only going to be used for so long 😩 @dang_dridri

@dang_dridri, some things are worth the $! I didn't know twins can't sleep in the same crib together. That's crazy. I never did with my sister, but always see parents putting them in one crib.

@lalamichelle0707, they say the first few months they can but after that it's not safe because of SIDS and suffocation. I'm too scared to risk it because babies move so much in their sleep.
