they are sending me some papers to.fill out with some type of form which if I qualify for it I may be eligible to get 12 weeks but it will still be unpaid. I'm hoping I qualify ! I really want as much time as I can get. @m173

@fiona01, Yeah unfortunately they don't technically have to give you anything. I qualify, but only 4 weeks will be paid because that's all the sick and vacation time I will have accrued when the baby is born. I've been trying to save so I can still pay my bills and take the full 12 weeks off.

I'm sorry that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, why quit a job your still getting paid from to look for another job that you might not get...... I'm sorry @fiona01 don't take that advice.

I've been at this place since 2012 I don't wanna leave if I can help it and I'm due in 8 weeks nobody will hire me . and my family can't survive on one income @gcpaschal

Find another job or start looking at like the 10 week mark.

yea i didnt sign up for short term disability this time so my leave is unpaid but because of fmla i can be out for up to 12 weeks

Yea I'm only taking the 6 weeks. We can't afford to not take any more

Damn that's messed up. I get 4 weeks paid and I'm using 2 weeks vacation.

I can't get paid anyways because I'm only part time techinally and with my job it depends on how many hours you have worked since hire and I'm short on hours so I won't be getting the 12 weeks I'll be getting 6 weeks unpaid. @lalamichelle0707

Legally you can get 12 it's just unpaid I believe
