I'm so nervous guys. At 30 weeks with my son I ended up having an emergency c section due to preeclampsia and the docs not being able to get my blood pressure down. I def don't want the same thing to happen with this baby. What are some things I should do differently or could do differently?
My preemie is on my profile picture with me. He's 4 months now so I'm sure he wouldn't look so small now. But he's on my profile pic with me @kimberlyyyy
They told me they wouldn't accept the request for the group because your fb profile doesn't indicate that you have a preemie. It's the first time I've ever heard of them being so picky about members. I'm so sorry. I had no idea they were like that. I can try talking to them again, but I guess you'd have to have a couple pictures of your preemie as public or add a mini description saying you're a preemie mom or something.
@kimberlyyyy, getting into the preemie group on Facebook looks harder than I thought. I sent the request someone must've denied it because I had to send another requests hours later 😩
@coral1, I hope I don't get preeclampsia either and am able to go all the way. Oh boy. I had my son at 30 weeks I'm hoping that doesn't happen again. Are you having a c section or natural birth?
@coral1, I really want to but I'm not sure because November will only make 12 months and I'm not sure if that's enough time to heal. There are some risk if I do it naturally this time but I really want to. My first prenatal visit is April 15th we will see hats the plan
You can add those groups and ask the other members what their doctors chose to do for them. Aspirin is the only thing I can remember, but I'm not sure the specifics. Good luck momma! Hope you have a healthy and full term pregnancy this time around.
I'm waiting for them to accept my requests on fb to the preemie moms group @kimberlyyyy
Did your doctor tell you to take an aspirin a day? Since you're a preemie momma I suggest trying to add yourself to the preemie mom pages o follow on Facebook. I'm not sure how many people can relate to you here, although I've seen quite a few preemie moms here. Anyway, if you look for Preemie moms, Super Preemies, and Preemie Support And Awareness those are all helpful groups/pages I'm a member of. As always, talk to your OB Doctor and if it's a different doctor than your first make sure they know your previous medical history.
@coral1, me too
