Just went to my 38 week check up. 1 cm dilated. 50% effective. And baby is at station -3.
My next appointment will be 39 weeks and 5days. She said that I will have my membrane stripped and they will schedule a day for me to be induced.
I was really hoping to have him naturally.
Also I have never heard of having my membrane stripped.. is it as painful as it sounds?

I would definitely say no if there is no medical indication that you need it! Good luck, stay active, drink plenty of fluids and enjoy your last days being pregnant cuz it'll be over before ya know it! I had a natural birth, med free so you can do it!!!
my doctor just wants to but I am going to say no.
What was the reason they gave for induction? Because if you and baby are both healthy there is absolutely no reason to induce sooner than 42 weeks!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
U can do it....my doc wants to induce me I'm 38 weeks and I'm walking bouncing having sex, dancing my butt off taking EVENING PRIMROSE OIL GEL CAPSULES to dilate my cervix naturally so hopeful things will progress naturally...I refuse to be induced because docs ALL THE TIME just throw the word around, I hate that 😑
