Got my DEPO shot yesterday at my sox week checkup ... And the same night I told my SO to get the fuck out of my house…

I have no idea... As irresponsible as it sounds I think we will stick to the pull out method but I'm really afraid I've been thinking so much as to what I'm going to do. Birth control just doesn't do my body right. Even my doctor said it, my body rejects BC. Either pull out or condoms. We will see I guess. 😩

I tried two different birth control methods and neither did me well (the pill and depo) I'll never go back on birth control.

Yeah, I started right before summer. I was just coming off it when I dated my ex, so it wasn't as bad. But I also got pregnant on the pill! And I took it like clockwork, but I had to go on antibiotics and they didn't tell me that it makes your bc inactive and I didn't think of it at the time, until I found out I was pregnant!

@missjess, how TF are we suppose to enjoy our birth control if we bleed. U can't bleed and have sex that's nasty . So what's the point 😭

Not trying to scare you but my cousin's wife used to get depo before and she got paralyzed for a moment and had to call an ambulance. Yea everyone is different. I've heard lot of bad things about each birth control and personally I wouldn't do any at all. I rather have my husband put like 10 condoms on before ever getting on that.

It's mainly spotting and break through bleeding. And it started probably a week after I started it. And it was everyday! I had to wear a panty liner all the time. It was like that for basically the whole time I was on it. It was like a non stop period but just lighter.

I'm on the shot and I love it. I haven't gotten my period, I'm a little moody and bitchy and I only gained 5 pounds but I'm already so small that the 5 pounds look good on me ☺️

Bleed non stop ? For how long ? @missjess I got it the same day I was getting off my first period . Yesterday

Everyone saids all this horrifying stuff about going on depo. I didn't experience any of it. Maybe I was a little more hormonal but that was it. I didn't like it though because all I did was bleed non stop so I only got like 2 or 3 shots when I had stopped it.

Well that's up to her it's differnt for everyone everybody told me the same thing as they are saying and it worked great for me but its totally up to u if u want to stay on it I'm back on it from after my son and it working great

The depo worked great for my never gained weight wasn't hard for me to have a baby it's different for everyone so I wouldn't juge it until I see how it reacts to ur body

Everyone has their own experience with it.. For the most part it was good to me I did gain weight but now I have hips and butt so that was ok with me.

I don't like the others . I don't want any rings or no shit like that going up inside me . It creeps me out. Definitely not the pill cause I'll forget.

I'd never take Depo# made my sister sterille f that! plus you gain weight takes a long time to regulate to have another child and messes with your hormones. I've heard nothing good be careful!!

You can always check to see what other birth controls there are. I absolutely hated the depo. @k.haotic

I had the depo and was also moody and gained a ton of weight on it and got horrible stretch marks.
