I'm sorry in advanced but I see 17, 18, 19 year olds on here actually planning to have a baby with their boyfriends,Do you have your own pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of?.. I mean if it happens, cool but PLANNING? NOPE NOT ME.

I think its kinda dumb. because it sucks scrapping by just the two of ya, but add a baby that's a whole new stress. BUT as our little one is an opsie, we have gotten better managing finances and saving and things are getting better (knock on wood). but I wouldn't have planned for him. not being 18

also, most of those girls end up single moms.

Yes!!!! I'm 19 and DID NOT plan my pregnancy! It's by far one of the biggest blessings in my life but I HAD a friend who is 18 and has been apparently trying to conceive for the past 5 years😑 she's now 23 weeks pregnant.. Once I found that out I stopped talking to her.. I agree, like you said planning and not are totally different...
Shan·
Let me find out who these parents are LMAO
missing59user·
It's kinda of sad.. No guidance what so ever. What they don't know IS NO BABY WILL KEEP HIM AROUND.
missing561user·
@hannahandweston, all babies are blessings no matter the predicament, I wasn't necessarily ready to be a mom especially with my last year in college but thank god I'm established and my fiancé is as well, but never would I never plan a whole baby fresh outta high school haven't even experienced half of what's to come despite having a child.. You got bills, money, jobs... @twins1987 boom there's one I just don't understand 😂
missing561user·
@jessicahartze I don't understand these boys will tell these girls anything
missing561user·
@shalene right if anything they will be gone as soon as the baby is born it's sad this generation
missing197user·
thankfully I was out of high school by 16 and got a chance to travel and live in different places before I found my bf and moved back home. so I got a little me time before the big surprise :) but yeah honestly it isn't just the guys tho...I've heard from a friend that his ex (his baby's mom) took the used condom and used the sperm inside of it to get pregnant ...because he said he didn't want kids for another 5 years..
Sarah·
I agree, I just don't understand either. I know some may be very in love and want to start a family but why not wait? I've been with my boyfriend since I was 14 and we never planned to have a baby. I'm pregnant now but it actually just happened. It's fine because we are older and more ready but we waited til we were older
missing561user·
@jessicahartze I mean if it happens it happens

@Sarahsolis me too it honestly shocked the hell out of us

I'm 20 next month and planning .. I have a career, and a loving fiancé. And, we're moving into a rent-to-own home. My parents are proud of me. I did all that I've done without guidance. And I feel it's my life if I'd like to be a mother. 😊
missing561user·
That's different if you're already established, hope you didn't feel offended so I really hope that you are as established as you say you are ☺️ I'm 21 having a child I have my own everything as well as my fiancé and I still was not emotionally prepared to have or plan a baby.. And I've been out my moms house for 3 years
missing561user·
@leahh, you are exactly right and that was all I was trying to say I'm 21 same own house own cars both have good jobs and pay bills. But at 18,19 living with mom n dad they still feeding you and you're planning to have a kid 😬

kind of took offense to this..? not sure if I should. I'm 19, and my husband and I got married October 2014 (i was 18 and he was 20), started trying immediately for a baby and conceived a year later. When I give birth I will be 20. My husband has been ready to be a dad since he was 16 (we didn't start dating until 2014) and so have I so we just knew we were ready for this journey.
Tia Lynn Beané·
Nobody is ever actually "ready" for a baby so I do understand what you're saying. But ya, everything I have, is MY OWN. My parents didn't want to help me but now that I've made a life for myself, they want to be in my life. You didn't offend, just saying everyone is different. 😊 congrats by the way!

I was definitely not trying to have a baby that young, hell I was 30 when my first child was born.... my step sister got pregnant at 18 and had her oldest at 19, she didn't plan it, but my dad and step mom have custody of her.... my nieces dad hasn't been a part of her life ever... these young girls planning it think their boyfriends will be around forever and they listen to what they tell them ( like oh a baby will be awesome, or we can totally take care of the baby) then these poor girls are left all alone and pregnant
missing561user·
@madibug96, yea you should be offended then😂, not to be rude but a father at 16 and you barely can take care of yourself😂 like I said if it happens then COOL, but you haven't been out the house 5 mins and you planning for a baby?
Madison·
В ожидании первенца
@shayyliynn, I think that was a little uncalled for. obviously neither of us were trying for a baby at 16. and since he has had a steady job (USMC) and we had our shit together I don't really see a problem with how early we started trying.
missing561user·
@sarahdrew, @madibug96 guess where my boyfriend I had at 18 years old is? He's married with 2 kids and I dated him for 4 years we had all kinds of plans. At this age you never know where your life is headed, you're just starting..

you could be 30 and still not be ready for a baby , I was 18 didn't plan became a single mom because of my choice. moved back in with my mother to save money until I finish going to college . as long as you take care of that baby doesn't matter what age you are

@shayyliynn, exactly.... my boyfriend from when I was 17/18 is married and lives in a different town lol we had plans too but guess what life happened
missing561user·
Thankfully I met my fiancé was a baby in the plan absolutely not, I'm in my senior year of college he's graduated from college already and in the army, I had plan on living the life but God made that plan for me to have a baby. And I love my munchkin but I wasn't ready, I know that and I wouldn't dare intentionally bring a kid knowing I wasn't ready. It just happened @madibug96 @sarahdrew

@shayyliynn, well some of us are ready for different things at different times. there's no need to tell me I should be offended for trying for a family with the man I love and married.

@alainalovesmommy, I never said that I said planning to have meaning lets go make a baby at 18 years old reading is fundamental 😂

I get what you were saying , I was just saying you can plan and still not be ready when the time comes
missing561user·
@Leahh I wish people would read, I just hope you have a prosperous marriage sweetheart at the age of 20 even with a baby on the way and a ring on my finger I'm not marring him until I know WE are ready and at 19 or 18 with my mom paying some of my bills and me working at chipotle working my way thru sophomore year was NOT READY lol

@shayyliynn, I agree with u. I was 16 when I got pregnant with my daughter. Definitely wasn't planned at all. I don't regret her at all. Cause she was definitely a blessing to me. But I would have waited but dealing with a liar and cheater that manipulate u cause he so much older. N u found out when u about to give birth his real age n after u give birth he been cheating the whole relationship. So now when I see young girls trying n all I just shack my head. Like they just don't know. It was hard. But I had family behind me to help. I'm so thankful for. I wish I did have more guidance with from my parents. But they made me the woman I am today independent hard working taking care my daughter n ect.

@shayyliynn, question simply because of the topic of the conversation and me being married with kids at the age of 37 and have an opinion on your last comment, why shack up? You have everything else playing house, why not jump full force in it? You're living together, paying bills together, having a child together. I'm sure cooking cleaning and being faithful to him. Do you not think you're worthy enough to have his last name as well? Cause honestly that's the only things missing cause you will definitely be doing everything else like a wife. How can you say you're not ready when you're the Epitome of everything a wife stands for without the benefits. Of course just assuming from previous comments you live together.
missing561user·
@baby6aryn, of course I have a beautiful ring we do everything together but a baby let alone marriage is a big step in not going to marry him just because we have a child on the way that's very shallow, once I finish everything I plan to finish then of course we are not just "shacking up" no no we are being smart and making plans and planning ahead before we make a decision. I've watched to many marriages fail because of no foundation.. We are going to be 100% ready not get married just because of stereotypical opinions of its only right..
missing561user·
And I owe it to my marriage to make sure that I'm ready so I can be everything I know I can be for my husband don't you agree ? @baby6aryn
Veronique·
Многодетная мама (5 детей), беременна
Yes I completely agree. I don't think a baby means marriage. But shacking is a totally different story. From personal experience. That's why I asked. Give them something to need reach for, don't give your all without the commitment. It's gets too easy to walk away and too many excuses not to do something. You're going through exactly what a married couple would all the same expectations. Like the saying goes. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free. That saying is old but soooo true. You seem like a very smart girl.
