My nipples are sooooo sore, and she loves to comfort feed. I feed from both breasts sometimes up to 35-45 minutes, and she still seems hungry, so I give her two ounces of formula😞. I hope to increase my supply soon.
I am sick to death of my in laws telling me how fat Scarlett is, and asking me what I feed her! Does she look fat to you? No!
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤

I wouldn't supplement. Breastfed babies eat more often than formula fed babies. She's getting just what she needs.

@queeneden is right. Don't supplement unless she's not gaining or not having enough wet or dirty diapers. Cluster feeding is totally normal she's telling your body to make more. ❤️

Yeah I feel like comfort feeding is different from hunger feedings. I think she is probably fine and just likes you lol 😄

You should do some research to make sure she has a proper latch as well. That's usually the cause of nipple pain this early. YouTube has some great videos to help you.

You don't need to supplement and doing so can and will decrease your supply. As long as her diapers are wet at least 6 times a day, she's getting enough. Your body is designed to nourish your baby and definitely can. Cluster feeding is perfectly normal.
