Ok so my 2 month old got use to me carrying her, rocking her, bouncing her, walking to the end of the world with her, and the impossible, to the point where I end up in tears because I suffer from really bad back pains even before I was pregnant. I really can't put her to sleep unless I do all these things. have any mommies experienced this? how can I make my life easier. .. my back really hurts after I try to put her to sleep but it takes 30 to an hour for something to finally work.
has anyone tried the "crying it out" method?
don't even suggest my husband to help because he is useless. PLEASE HELP
my daughter and sons were like that....I would honestly take them for a car ride n they'd fall asleep. Have you tried laying with her? Crying out method I hate never would do....the baby could cry for hours before it actually falls asleep.....my sister did that method and it killed me.
@jeasie, when my son was little, he got used to me holding him standing and bouncing him while swaying back and forth. If i sat down he would cry. Thats the only way he would fall asleep for months. Well he was 20lbs by 4 months old so i killed my body to do that all the time so i just slowly weaned him off it. Didnt bounce as much. To no bouncing. To not much swaying. To no swaying. And in about 2 weeks he would just fall asleep while i held him sitting down. I personally dont like the crying it out meathod but ive heard it can work. Just please dont let her cry for 2 hours hoping she will just eventually get tired of crying. ( i know someone who does that and it breaks my heart for the baby)
She won't take a pacifier I tried every paci out there and I tried tricking her to taking it when she's half asleep and on my nipple... nothing works but I bet that would help alot @mabes :/
Does she not wake up if the pacifier falls out of her mouth? Mine cries as soon as the pacifier falls out :(
I'm a little scared because my nephew passed out at when he was a 1 1/2 old from crying... he is really spoiled. his mom jumps to his ever need. if he wants something he gets it at the moment he wants it. when she finally got fed up she let him cry it out and he literally stoped crying after 5 mins and started falling forward, he turned purple and his eyes roller back until my sis picked him up and rubbed alcohol all over his body and made him smell it. we all got scared....
no more than 5 min. i swaddle her real good get her nice and comfy i put her paci in her mouth shes out less than 5 min.
how long did it take for her to fall asleep? @tamayobaby
i let my 3 month old daughter cry it out if i see shes not hungry or if she doesnt need a diaper change i know she just wants to be held .. i love holding my daughter but sometimes you have to lrt them cry it out ...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
