I have a 101.2 fever should I go to the hospital

fever went down, cough is gone and now I just have a stuffy nose! think I sweat out the cold lol @candacelouise

Try to let it go down as much as you can if your nervous Then always go to hospital to be on the safe side so they can make sure baby is okay..... For some pregnant woman (me) not most when you get sick it's hard to shake the symptoms for awhile.....so be very careful.....oh and hydrate (Gatorade, pedialyte , water)

@nebanks1226, oh good! Well I would stay on the Tylenol for the fever every 4 hours, or whatever it says! If you have two different fever medications switch between the two. Rotate them. Hope you start feeling better!

it keeps going up and down..L&D said it sounds like the flu it's going around down here. called my ob and he's gonna call in an antibiotic in the morning

@nebanks1226, I would! I would try a cold shower and give it 45 mins from when you took medicine and if it doesn't get lower call the nurse (if you have an on call one) and if you don't go in.

okay...if it stays at 101.2 and doesn't go down but doesn't go up should I go in? @candacelouise

@nebanks1226, a cool wash cloth on your forehead helps sometimes. Or a cool shower.

okay! is there anything else I can do to help keep it down? I took Tylenol and I'm drinking ice water @candacelouise

@nebanks1226, keep watching it though! If t just keeps going up, go in. Hope it goes down, and remember lots of fluids! Gatorade too if you have it.

@nebanks1226, no take some medicine to try n get it down, I think they say to go at 102.5 or 103. Drink lots of water!
