I've been craving coffee hard core but quit the moment I found out I was pregnant. I wonder if it would be bad to start up again so suddenly? Or if in moderation will be okay? How many women have done this?
Yes, I have been getting so many headaches now entering my second trimester. @snowwbunny
I drink coffee a few times a week. Coffee is fine, just don't drink more than a cup a day. Later, the caffeine will help you with the migraines that pleasantly visit us for days at a time.
I read with decaf (I'm not sure how true it is) you would need to make sure it was filtered properly because if it isn't it's more "harmful" @emeliaday I seriously hate reading into things because I second guess my life in general lol
Coffee is good to get your digestive system moving since pregnancy can cause constipation. Caffeine is also recommended when you have headaches and/or migraines too. There's nothing that links caffeine to anything harmful to the baby, but want you t be moderate in having it. You'll be surprised at what all actually has caffeine in it and you not know. A couple or a few cups a day won't hurt
I'm going to try it because I've been craving it @babybird080316 @avahmommy21 @theemmariefactor
If you cut it out already and feel ok maybe decaf would give you the taste without the caffeine. If I could cut caffeine completely I would. I cut way back because it does tend to raise Bp a little bit.
You're allowed one coffee a day. They actually don't have any studies proving that caffeine is harmful to the baby- it's just a better safe than sorry type thing
I did decaf and in moderation.
