so I switched it back to see if the orange similac sensitive formula was the problem of her pooping hard and constipated and I think it is. even thou alot is saying it's bc of switching her diet and adding solids...idk anymore. what to do?....should I just go right on ahead and give her juice. I just don't want it giving her dirrhea. :/ ugh my poor baby. I don't want to cause more problems for sensitive tummy.

@wisconsinmom, was your babies poop seedy? bc now my babies poop is seedy. I'm only feeding her formula untill she turns 6 months fully to feed her Baby food.
I think it all depends on what kind of baby food you give them. and formula. I had to switch her formula 3 times and her poops were always different. just keep your baby hydrated and she should be fine :)
@wisconsinmom, how long does these weird poop side effects last? atfirst it was yellow mustard. now it's like olive green...
@wisconsinmom, well that's what I hope it will go back to normal. she only poops once a day which is what the nurses said was normal.
that's just the side effect of giving her prunes.. now that she has it all out it should go back to normal again
@wisconsinmom, but when I gave my baby prune juice. her poop was like seedy..and sort of looked like dirrhea. it didn't look normal anymore.
My baby is 5 months and is on baby food, when she seems to he constipated, I gave her prune baby food. it was the messiest diaper I have ever seen, but she got all the poop out and was so happy afterwards
she has the bad coughs along with it..like their seems like mucus in her throat now with runny nose
idk what's wrong with her. she had hard stools. but that went away once I gave her prune apple juice to her so now it's sort of turning into dirrhea
@nalaglee, mind if I'm nosey ? What exactly is going wrong for baby ?
but if you really are concerned, (mothers instinct) then call a nurse hotline or go to the ER or her doctor. better safe than sorry
