Just read my baby's papers from her 12 month checkup and wondering why she's so tiny she's only in the 12 percentile for height and 27 percentile for weight I mean she's tripled her weight since birth but I don't know atleast she's healthy
@kleeas1, yep same with mine and I hate those charts too ugh
She was breastfed for a year but she has always been petite. I hate those charts! @ilyric
@chavalava, thanks love for that bit of information you guys reassurance really helped. I need to stop reading those papers like a bad report card or something
As long as she is healthy.. My son was always under till he hit 2 years old now he is 50 in height and under weight but the dr said he is healthy and doing just fine
@ilyric, thanks so much it bugged me I guess I'm expecting too much when I should just be grateful she's healthy and very advanced
That's just a general scale for all kids her age. My baby boy is only in the 15% for his height. As long as she's on the same growing curve since birth, there is nothing to worry about :)
@kleeas1, Really? I felt a little down for some reason about it was your baby breastfed formula or what?
Alright ladies! I finally progressed! I'm finally a centimeter dilated, 50-60% effaced and she's at a -3 making her way down. She's weighing 8lbs and is in the 90 percentile! ❤ Oh and she did a membrane sweep!
Baby won't bear weight on leg
I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as ...

Maddy is doing well! She's up to 24cc of milk, can come off of her cpap for a little bit at a time, and is 2lbs,10.5 oz as of last night. She's almost back up to her birth weight. I can't believe it's almost 3 weeks. Doctors say she doesn't know she's a preemie. She's got quite the personality for such a peanut.
I have a SERIOUS question. My friend went to her anatomy scan today and her doctor said "She's in the 33rd percentile for weight and her femur is in the 22nd. He explained it as 2/3 of babies are half as bigger than her and 1/3 are smaller at her gestation" could the babies small weight and little weight gain be because of her smoking cigarettes during pregnancy?
@marleas.mommy, Yeah my daughter may end up like that as well
