Question : How do/did you cope with your newborn baby getting shots? I don't like needles at all & it just hurts my heart having too see my baby girl get her shots. 😩😩😩
Flu shot is necessary?? I took my son to his new pediatrician yesterday. I loved her! Except for one thing. She said to go back in 4 months so my son gets his flu shot. I told her we don't get the flu shot and she said he has to because I'm having a baby soon and that's what's best. Really? He got the tdap and I'm getting the tdap in two weeks but is the flu shot really necessary? I've always been against getting it. What are your thoughts?

@mommytomia, my daughter got two one on each leg and one by mouth!! Idk if u have seen the video of this dr immediately making the baby stop crying well I tried it and it work u put the baby's back close to u out the left arm across the chest and the right arm in front put the baby at a 90 degree angle and rock bck and forth she will stop crying!!! She will probably sleep all day and night

So far it's been every two months, so at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months....not sure if it'll be the same after that yet lol I'll know on Wednesday!

@hellosweetie, very true. I'm gonna need to nurse her afterwards to soothe her ): my poor baby!! I'm definitely not gonna video tape it haha I just wanna be one hundred percent there for her. I know my hubby is gonna be super protective too hahaha last time the doctor made her cry and my man puffed his chest at the doctor hahahaha

Yes, that's one of those memories ya kinda just wanna forget....but it will be seared into your memory whether you video tape or not, I still remember the pause and look she gave me like "whyyy??" then the crying......most sad thing in the entire world 😢 it does make me feel a lot better to be able to comfort her quickly though!

I think they get the drinkable one, then 3 shots in their lil thighs....she's gonna cry, but just be there for her, give her warm hugs and as soon as the nurse leaves the room let her have some booby for a few minutes before you leave and she will calm down REALLY quick! Works like a charm for Melody 😉 her next shots are on the 2nd 😢

yes but Penelope was ptfo before we even got to the car & slept for 5 hours then was fine. pick up some baby tylenol just in case
