It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be they do scream which is sad but i waited to feed her till after her shots so she nursed for comfort but honestly I think the worst part is them not feeling good. I gave the infant tylonal as soon as she was just crying because she didn't feel good. Never got a fever. One oral vaccine which seems to take forever and then the three shots.

my son never got a fever from shots but some babies do. my son just got cranky. two months shots are honestly the worst, seeing your baby in pain is no fun. I literally balled my eyes out.

sometimes they will but sometimes not. do not give Tylenol before the appointment my daughter's pediatrician said it can effect the vaccines. my daughter didn't get a fever...she slept a lot and was sore which Tylenol will help...ask the pediatrician the dose for your baby.

As long as you give them Tylenol before the appointment they should be fine just watch them through the night but not all kids get a fever

She should be okay though, the only one that would really cause a fever would the the Hep A and HPV series. But it's different with all babies.

P.S. Giving tylonal or any medication BEFORE the appointment is STRONGLY advised against because research indicates that it can lower the effectiveness of the vaccine, so PLEASE ask your doctor when the appropriate time to medicate her would be!

but it also depends on what shot she gets.

She may or may not get a fever, Melody got a very low grade one the first time and we gave her baby tylonal when we got home....the second time she was fine, but she slept like a ROCK the minute she got in the car and barely woke to eat for the rest of that day and night! Just keep an eye on her temp, ask the doctor when would be appropriate to give her tylonal and what dose, and if her temp gets to whatever temp the doc says then give it to her, or if she's super grumpy and obviously in pain then give it to her....otherwise they don't really need it 😜

just keep an eye on the temp and make sure to give lots of lovins because she'll be in pain most likely.

Yes, they usually tell you to give them a little infant pain reliever/fever reducer an hour before the appointment.
