Mommies what's your opinion on stripping of membranes? the more I research it the more nervous and scared I am to have…

it's quick and relatively painless. I had it with my oldest still went 4 days over my due date

for my first one it was a peace of cake! for my second it hurt like B#&*@!! I don't know if it was cause of the way she did it but it made me cry!! for my 3rd same thing it HURT! for my 4th i didn't get it done cause I went in to labor before that appointment thank GOD! cause I didn't wanna go threw that again. but I guess for everyone it's different :/

oh and it helped me go into labor after getting it done not right away but like 2 or 3 day's later...

@misspatty, I'm so scared for it to hurt my s/o does not like seeing me in pain and I can't imagine his reaction if it really hurt 😕 I'm so scared I wish she'd just come before Monday to avoid it!

the thing that sucks about it is that when you go into the hospital they do the same thing but there checking how far dilated you are... lucky for me my epidural had kicked in before they did it. not trying to scare you but might be different for you :)

how far along are you?

my son came in about 3 week's early
