I went to a lab and he said 2-4 days he "thinks" so I was hoping by Friday too. I don't wanna have wait through the weekend.

Yea..well my doctor has the prescription sent over so I just had to go pick it up but yes. They have it there and all the stuff just like any medications. :)

and I just take it to the pharmacy like a regular prescription? @mrsschutte1323

@bsummers, I don't even know how much it costs because my insurance covered the meter, the test strips, -!; the needles

@bsummers, the doctors prescribe you a meter thing and you have to prick your finger four times a day and test it and write it down. If it's high consistently then your doctor will probably put you on medication to keep it under control.

@andrianikol13016, @mrsschutte1323 there are tons of restaurant around here I'm so grabbing something from somewhere after this. I feel so weak and miserable. I am only on my 2nd draw.... my 3rd one is still 30 min away.... how do you check your blood sugar?

@bsummers, and if you don't pass (I didn't) depending on your numbers you probably won't have to take insulin or any drugs or anything to control it. I just have to test my blood sugar four times a day. I barely changed my diet. And mine is completely controlled.

I never had to take the 1 hour one. They just skipped right to the 3 hour one. It sucked. And I was supposed to fast for 12 hours and nobody told me that until I was there for the appointment and had only fasted for like 7 hours. -./
