I didn't have a baby shower because I bought everything I need for my son. (Minus the swing I'll get this month) So I decided to have a "Welcome the baby" thing after he's here. Would it be tacky to ask them to bring diapers? Don't hold back I'm not sensitive! lol
@carlismommy12, I put in a $15 GC to Target and some miscellaneous things from Thad $1-$5 section from Target too. Made a little basket. I spent I think like $25-$30 on it but I figured it evened out from all the diapers
what prize did you give? Im definitely going to do it!! @boenischpartyof5
Not tacky at all. We had a diaper raffle for my twins and we got so much were still using them 7 months later...for TWO babies 👍🏼
you can absolutely ask for diapers.... call it a diaper shower or a diaper party.... you could even have a raffle everyone that brings diapers or wipes gets their name put in and then you draw and the get a prize (gift card to Walmart or something)
nope sounds good:)) maybe offer a raffle for each bag or box of diapers they get put into s drawling to win a prize:)
Oh yeah! That's perfect and believe or not a lot of people may bring more than just the diapers like an outfit or something. people like to feel like they've done something to help with the baby.
@carlismommy12, oh yeah, you've got this. I'd buy you a few boxes. It's least they can do
Thank you so much ladies! I'll also be providing food and refreshments. @alyssaf @bjeff @dang_dridri @raegenice @sashasnoww
I don't think so. It's the easiest thing they can bring and since there was no baby shower I think it's perfect.
I don't think so! My sister called it a sip n see! Bring diapers!
