I'm nervous. Last time I went to the ob, the ultrasound lady told me that babies kidneys are filling up with urine . But my doctor told me not to worry. How can I not worry!!! I have an ultrasound the 1st of March and I can't wait :( I've been nervous and freaking out ): it's my first and I'm having a boy.

So it's pyelectasis, it's seen more commonly in boys, it's harmless as long as the baby has enough amniotic fluid surrounding him/her- and the doc will most likely keep a closer eye- aka you get to see baby more often on ultrasound. Usually sorts itself out after birth.

Wait I'm confused. Did she mean they are producing urine? Because babies drink amniotic fluid and pee it back out all the time, starting in the 10th week of pregnancy
