@desiadi4116, you have 9 weeks left. my advice is to stick it out and bring your concerns up to them as much as you can in that time. I still have 14 weeks left with them -.- as soon as your little one arrives, look into getting a new ob. honestly, I've heard great things about Lancaster General's ob/gyn office, if I was able to, I would switch to them

@harleybaby2952, That's the thing. I don't have a doctor. I haven't seen the same person twice! And yeah I wish they would of let me do the Genetic test my cousin asked and they did it and we have the same insurance. They won't tell me anything. Next time I go in I'm bring my book and showing them the page and telling them. like its bs!

@desiadi4116, the doctors you may have been seeing are the student doctors since it is a teaching hospital, but regardless, they're not very nice :/ I remember the one I had when I had my daughter, she was a bitch and told me I wasn't sick. 20 minutes later, I'm being told I need an emergency c section and I have to be put under.

I'm waiting for something to happen with this pregnancy because I'll sue for being ignored twice now. a high risk nurse and the receptionist, Victoria, calmed me down on Monday....I mean, I was freaking pissed when I got there. tell me how I was diagnosed with a hereditary blood disorder at about 6 weeks, but they knew for 2 years about it and didn't mention it during my first pregnancy when they discovered it. it was like "whoa! hold on a minute, excuse me?!"

@harleybaby2952, Oh man! I have a medical book in pregnancy and babies. and I would complain about morning sickness because I couldnt hold liquids or food for two weeks straight. My doctor told me ligetly to suck it up and get a motion sickness bands. which I mean they helped in the car but was kinda useless. I was reading my book the other day a Medical condition i forget the name but it showed everything single symptom i had. I lost 25+ pounds. I just got back to my weight and on top of it Like the book says she's bruising my uturs from all of the weight because my body cam barely hold her up. And that gives me a higb risk of premature labor. and just like I'm going to tell them, if there is a medical problem for me or my daughter because they ignored it. im freaking suing. Screw that shit plus they all bitches in there I only met one doctor I met that I really liked and that was Thompson

I went into cardiac arrest with my daughter because they ignored symptoms of an infection in my body. now they're doing it again. they think they know everything because they're doctors, but we're the ones carrying the babies and our bodies let us know if something is wrong. I had a cocky little student doctor look at me on Monday and then the real doc comes in and gives me the third degree about why I'm high risk. they make you want to bang your head against the wall -.- I have trouble expressing myself as it is and it's incredibly irritating and upsetting when you know your being pushed off

@harleybaby2952, So I'm not the only one who is getting fed of up with their bs? they dont even measure me right! Like I cant stand on my feet more than 15 minutes or I pass out. they claim it's my iron so i tale two iron pills which doesn't help either! They ask for my urine to test for infections and Utis but like right after I left one day I had to go to the hospital because of a horrible Uti which they said that was never there! If I wasnt 31 weeks I wouldnt go back at all. They told me at the begainning of my pregnancy NOT to work. my last appointment the doctor got mad and told me I should of been working this whole time!

It's not always up to the Dr's. My insurance only covers one sonogram, unless there is a medical reason for it.

@desiadi4116, I just went through a whole thing with them on Monday. I left furious. This is my last child so I'm going to find another office as soon as I'm done lol.

You are better off without so many ultrasounds. Studies show they aren't too safe to have so many. You will be ok. Your dr is being safe.

I'm sorry that's happening. it seriously sucks when doctors are so weird about it. With my first I had 7 ultrasounds because I kept going into preterm labor. With my second I had 6 because I was high risk. Both of them I had a 3d one as well. Because I am considered high risk with this one as well I have my 5th scheduled for the 4th of Feb. Which will also partly be a 3d ultrasound and I will be one day before 35 weeks. Hopefully you will get another one soon.

I tried talking to the doctor I had last time and she told me if I wanted another ultrasound then I would have to pay out of pocket. I'm just like extremely worried. They refused to give me a Genetic Test, I've been looking for another office. I know girls who aren't high risk and they already got 5 ultrasounds. That kinda makes me hot headed.

@desiadi4116, Hershey is a little weird with ultrasounds. I'm high risk there so I get them more often, I actually have another one tomorrow. but if you are truly worried, speak to the doctor closer to your due date...I think with my first, I only had 2 before I had her....they could change their minds as well lol

you should get one at 36-37 weeks that will be the growth ultrasound
