ok lactating mommies, Help! I have a 5 week old and produced great until about 2 weeks ago. I have power pumped and I drink lots of water, I nurse when she wants to eat, but my supply just doesn't seem to be coming in. I am really frustrated, I don't want to give it up, but I don't know what else to do.

@sev1226 I stopped pumping, I only let her nurse now. I forget about the growth spurts. ..I am a new mom and it shows lol
I agree, it's probably her 6 week growth spurt. Just put her one when she wants it and your body will adjust. Just make sure you're also not pumping the milk she needs to increase supply/storage. Nature will do its part but if she going through a spurt and you're feeding and pumping then your body isn't recognizing what she needs.
She could be going through a growth spurt. They eat more then.
I was feeding and still pumping about 7oz for the first few weeks....now she just doesn't seem to ever be satisfied.
Why do you think your supply is dropping? If your baby is wetting diapers, your supply is fine.
fenugreek works you have to take a lot. about 4-600mg capsules 3 times a day. takes about 24-48hours to kick in. when your milk,pee,sweat and baby start to smell maple syrup you have the right dose. lol
I am able to feed baby fine but has a hard time pumping more than 2.5ounces so I take fenugeek every few weeks for a few days
fennugreek and blessed milk thistle. I would also recommend seeing a lactation nurse

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Ahh. I have so much homework this week and I don't want to do any of it 😑

How can I dilate more? I have bad hip pain so don't want to be walking today.
Took this lastnight...and I'm not sure how I should feel. I've made a terrible mistake by having sex so soon after having a baby but it has made such a precious thing. I really don't want to have an abortion but my Fiancé does. I understand why he wants to go that route but I just would feel absolutely terrible about doing that. I cried all night...I really don't know what to do. PLEASE NO JUDGING IM ONLY POSTING THIS FOR SUPPORT.
@mckennasmommie, no worries! I am too. My little guy is 14 weeks so I'm only slightly ahead of you :)
