When can I start my baby on cereal? I think he's about to hit a growth spurt. Last night he ate almost twice as much as he usually does and soon I may not be able to pump enough to satisfy him. He turns 12 weeks today.

i was also told 6 months however i tried at 3 months and it didnt settle well w his belly but at 4 months his dr ok him eating baby food bc hes so big.
@sarahdrew, never heard of a stick blender but I'll look into it.
@kcc29, I've heard other stories where people have tried it early and everything was ok.
my son had cereal in his bottle since 3 weeks old due to acid reflux and he's a healthy 15 month old.
they aren't supposed to have cereal or baby food until 6 months, it can cause major tummy issues.
@jaxsonsmomma, @skylersmommy010 I'll talk to his doctor and see what he thinks. He'll be three months in two weeks so hopefully he'll be fine.
