ok so I'm 35wks and I hate my obgyn!!! the problem is that the clinic I go to she is the only female doc the other option is a man and my husband is at the point where he would rather me be seen by him than keep going to the female doc!!! but I feel like it would be weird having another man down there while my husband is in the room!! or even more weird with out him!! but I have another appointment with her on Thursday and idk what to do!! has anyone had this issue?
I have a male doc. he's awesome! yes it was super weird at first but he is the best! and you get used to it =)
my obgyn is a male and honestly with my first pregnancy I was like ewww no its gunna be weird but he was so respectful and nice didn't make it not one bit weird and I chose him again for this pregnancy
I have a male doctor and there is always a nurse the room if he has to check anything vaginally. I to thought it would be weird to have male doctor. But I love my doctor now. He is one of best doctor's out here. Everyone wants to be seen by him.
really up to you about how you feel twards the OB. I am on my 3rd and my son is 13. I have had the same Male OBGYN and he is amazing. down to earth and cares alot. he has delivered both of my children and if he isn't busy he will be my 3rd.
good luck and go with your gut.
I saw a man my first pregnancy and loved him! he was super nice and always gentle!!!
there aren't always female nurses in the room. that surely isn't always the case. I have had a male ob for my first and this child. I'm not a fan of him but hes a good doctor. my baby came out perfect as can be so I can't complain. you can always switch back if you don't like him.
@antonys_mommy, I would switch to one of the men doctors. Men Drs can be awesome!
She is just rude like she makes rude comments when we're there and than this last appointment I went by myself and she was treating me like I'm a child!!
That's how I felt but the day I went to l&b a guy doctor checked me I was so nervous and scared lol the nurses where telling me that guy doctors are usually better since they are gentle to you and more understanding then female doctors since the female doctors act like they know what u can take as in pain tolerance lol
I stay away from doctors when it comes to my pregnancies. I prefer midwives, they are amazing and have so much passion for what they do ☺️
