what kind of pets r good with children? I'm allergic to cats so those r out. I'm looking to get a pet when I move out in the summer

I have a cat, a 1yr old male American bulldog mix and a 4 yr old female pitbull terrier. The cat has been indifferent but my dogs love my baby. It's a matter of supervision and seting boundaries. The breed is irrelevant if you are always in control and NEVER leave a child unsupervised no matter how much you trust your dog or cat.

I have a choloclate lab and a yellow lab and they both love my baby and are super awesome with her! every time she cries they come running to see what's wrong, and my friend has a beagle that's awesome with her two boys who are almost 2 and 3.5 months

all dogs can be mean if you do not raise them correctly. some breeds people assume would be great with children have some of the highest bite statistics. getting a puppy is like having another child.
