As far as the outfit itself goes I just don't think the short is cute at all. I think it would be much cuter with just regular dark baby skinny jeans/jeggings and a different maroon top. I think the ripped jeans make the outfit look cheap and the short reminds me of a lampshade or something. The purse is cute but pointless. A small side purse with a skinny strap would be cute for her to carry some toys in.

I didn't single you out for having an opposing view point. I think it's fine if you think this outfit is cute, dress your kid however you want. I can't believe some people don't think this is too much. Yes, babies are pure innocence, but why dress them like this? So if I put my 2 year old in a crop top, high heels , booty shorts, lipstick, and eye shadow... some of you would find nothing wrong with that? After all they're innocent babies...

My mom made a good point she said these young girls that dress provocatively don't understand the message they are putting out. What's going to trigger sexual thoughts more a 12 year old in a shirt and jeans...or a 12 year old in booty shorts and a crop top? @melody... that's gross because babies need a diaper or they would get poop and pee everywhere. They're also really uncomfortable so there is no reason for a small child to wear them. Nothing about this outfit is unhygienic or necessarily uncomfortable. So I'm not sure it's a good comparison. I also didn't say no one could find this outfit inappropriate or that it's not possible to dress a child inappropriately. I said I personally don't really see anything inappropriate about this.
