I changed my anatomy scan to the 1st. what should I expect and how long does it normally take. I can't wait to know if it's a boy or girl. 19w3d FTM

Make sure you have a full bladder! I was there for 3 hours because my bladder wasn't full and they need it full. 😩

Mine took the same as @rachie487 baby was also a wiggle worm. He was giving the tech a very hard time

Mine was about an hour. they check the entire body and take measurements. My boy was a wiggle worm so some things took longer, but it could be quicker or slower for you depending on baby's position and cooperation. It's a cool experience!

My tech preferred an empty bladder! I went with a full one and she had me empty it
