My 6 year old and I got our nails done today. She got her first manicure and they painted Olaf on her thumb! Some people have expressed that they think she's to young to be getting a manicure. I used the manicure as a bribe to get her to stop biting her nails and if it works...I'm going to keep taking her bi weekly when I go for a fill. I remember my parents not letting me get a manicure until I was in high school. Is it really so strange for a little girl to regularly get manicures?
Ridiculously chapped lips Help me! This has been going on for months but only intensified since getting pregnant. I have tried so many different types of chapsticks, lip balms, moisturizers, lip masks and treatments, and even some all natural methods, but nothing has helped. I literally have chunks of skin peeling off my lips. This has never happened to me before.
Not a brilliant pic but what Is that bit of skin tbere between her teeth and attached to her lip? Is it a lip tie or have I made one of those up?? Lol Isabella was tongue tied but the snipped it At birth.
did any other preggies get 3D ultrasound pictures done? i keep looking at mine and my baby looks looks she has big lips and a big dip under her bottom lip. i dont know if that's normal for ultrasounds. if u dont mind sharing yours thatd be great. I'll post mine in comments.
I'm afraid my baby girl might be getting too chubby... I love her rolls, but should I worry?

My son had his lip tie revised. Its an in office procedure that is very simple, they use forceps to numb the area and then use scissors to cut it. usually very little to no blood after immediately nurse or give bottle. You would need to speak with a ENT( Ears, Nose, Throat Specialist) about it and they would be who performs the procedure. It made me cry, not my son.

@ilyric, Yes I'm going to definitely cry and how old was your baby when you got it done? Do they give you pain meds for them after??? Sorry I'm stressed about this

My son was 9 wks. They don't require pain meds at all! Very simple uncomplicated procedure. i promise :) it reduced his air intake and everything.

and a little FYI, everyone has some sort of lip you're unless it was severe enough to need revised. they come in 4 stages.

probably best if you just schedule a consultation with an ENT and let them tell you what you should do.
