it could but not necessarily. If you lose it all at once it'll look a little bloody but you can lose your plug a little at a time also. and your plug can regenerate itself. but if you're having contractions then I would definitely call your doctor.

if it looks like snot it's your mucus plug but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll be going into labor. as long as you're not having contractions you're good. I lost my mucus plug 2 weeks before I went into labor
it also can grow back though. I lost a huge chunk of mine they told me i have half left nd been loosing lot more so prob have less then that of my plug
Yeah I think that could be it. I'd call your Dr asap
just make sure you mention at your next appointment
