Keep us posted! Spread your legs and let them flop to the side and just lay there helps open you up and if you have a contraction try and push a little it helps too :)

Good luck with everything! When I had my daughter I was at 5cm when they had me start pushing(not a good idea) well I ended up having her and a ton of tearing. This time I'm having a c-sections from the get start. I pray you dilate so you don't have to have a c-section.

UPDATE: NO BABY YET!!!! AHHH!!! I've been in labor for 27 hours. I'm still a 4!! FML this is HARD!!! They're gonna recheck me in 2 hours, and if no more progress....were doing a csection. Just get this baby out!!! I'm soooooo hungry and tired!!

If u get the epidural at 3cm sometimes that will slow your labor just wanted u to be aware :) try to hold out

3 cm you should be able to get a low dose epidural to take the edge off the contraction pain. Good luck!

Speaking from experience, don't let them let you go past 24 hours after your water breaks without delivering. I was in labor for over 30 with broken water and my little boy had to be in NICU for 10 days. He had an infection because my water was broken so long. Not trying to scare, so I'm so sorry if I did! Just trying to help.

I'm only a 2 and 80% effaced!! Holy s*** these contractions ain't playin!!! And I'm not even through the worst of it ????

A little piece of advice from my very recent experience. Dont mind the numbers!! They're so misleading and honestly the reason I was getting so discouraged during my induction. I was at level 28 of pitocin contracting every 2-3 minutes, and still not feeling much. They backed down to a 5 for an hour and a half before they broke my water(to give uterus a break) after that the highest they went was 12. By the time I had to push it was back down to a 6 but pain was out of control! My back was killing me(baby was sunny side up). Good luck dear! Hope you don't have to starve as long as I did(the worst part of induction if you ask me) Ice chips were heavenly, they tricked my brain into thinking I was actually eating. Lol. Ohh and jello

UPDATE: I'm soooooooooo hungry!!! Been here for 9 hours already, they got me at a level 12 of pitocin, I'm having more frequent and stronger contractions. But nothing I can't handle. They will not check to see if I'm dilated unless they HAVE to. So it's just the waiting game.
