ppl make me feel like a terrible person for having a preference, I'm thankful no matter what sex we have, but most mom's have a preference before finding out the gender, my middle son has epilepsy so I pray for a healthy child, I love my son and God has kept him seizure free since October 7th but it's stressful, is so wrong for me to want a mini me? @marleas.mommy

It's okay to wish for a certain gender but not to pray and dwell upon that certain one. Just wish for a baby girl and pray for a healthy child :)

I had a cousin I hadn't seen in forever this past weekend let me hold her new 3 month old baby boy and she asked how my pregnancy was going. Then she told me about her twins she had who both came out still borns before this baby and to always pray for a healthy baby. She said she will be praying healthy but wishing pink for me. Story's like that just your heart ache when a mom has lost one but she's so open and wants to help support you in your pregnancy still

I'm the only girl out of 5 kids, my mom had me, then she had my twin brothers & she was praying for another girl & she got a boy. & just a year & a half ago she married my step dad & he has a son also.

That is so annoying! They try to make it like you are ungrateful or worried about the wrong thing like get off your freaking high horse! It's natural to want one or the other especially if you have a bunch of boys or girls but it should be a given you want a healthy baby

I wanted a girl also, then at the same time I didn't care because as long as he/she was healthy I would be fine. & I have a healthy boy on the way & I do understand where you are coming from. Some people are so ignorant! Just focus on your baby hun. ❤
