I'm new here! My name is Amelia & I'm a 23 year old, single mom. This is my babe, her name is Brenleigh & she'll be 7 weeks on Wednesday.
This far, the only mom group I was a part of, is a private breast feezding group that I'm a part of on Facebook. I'd been struggling with low supply issues from the beginning & even after trying everything under the sun, have pretty much dried up. So, reading everything on that page is a little upsetting at the moment. I figured that it would be nice to find another place to go, that didn't revolve around just breast feeding.

I just have to say she's adorable! And I totally understand the supply issues. I struggled the whole time with supply and wound up supplementing a couple times a day until she turned 1. I weaned my dd fully at 18mo though.

I had our latch checked & it was great, according to the LC. My supply just kept dropping, no matter what I did & the lower it got, the less she wanted to nurse, because she wasn't getting enough. & it got to the point where she didn't want to nurse at all. which only made it drop more, even with me pumping like crazy. I wanted to try a SNS, but didn't have the money for it. I spent over 7 weeks off of work, without income, trying to fix the breast feeding before I went back. it didn't do any good, unfortunately.
