I had a natural birth. I bled for about 3 weeks after having my little girl. She's now almost 4 months old and I have yet to see my period return. Is this typical or unusual? Before having her I had irregular ones, so I'm not too worried but the same feeling is back that I normally got when it skipped a month or more. Nauseous, abdominal pain, lower back and spine pain, headaches, lessened appetite, etc. I haven't had sex since I found out I was pregnant, and have definitely not had any since having her so it's not pregnancy...how long did it take for your period to return after natural birth?

If you're breastfeeding your period may not come back until baby starts weaning. Even exclusively breastfeeding mine came back between 4-6 months postpartum. But yes it's usual to have a delay before starting a normal period again.

(Thread Closed) What Are you ladies up to tonight? I’m sitting here drinking some wine debating on taking a pregnancy test. I don’t really think I’m pregnant, but I have a leftover one in my purse from my last pregnancy. I usually get my period at the end of the month around the 20th and I haven’t gotten it yet. I am only 6 months pp and only have had two periods since having Jane. The chances I’m pregnant are slim to none to be honest, but it’s in the back of my head.
