Hey yall! So I have a super important question and would love any advice. Please no judgement..
So I was an avid breastfeeding awareness mom and it was very important to me. Well then I found out at 2 months old my daughter had a milk protein allergy. I'm a celiac which is a very severe allergy to gluten... and I had to stop breastfeeding because if I cut all dairy and soy on top of gluten, when celiac also makes it harder for your body to absorb nutrients, I would be like nothing. So they recommended against continuing breastfeeding in this case....
I was devastated.
But I want to start back up!
I have a Medela double electric pump-n-style and am home most of the day so I have time to pump etc.
Is it possible to build back from no supply at all?
And how do I get her to latch again?
me too! @mommagotbump16
