I find it amusing how some people are so quick to come on your post to tell you that your method is wrong. If what you do works for you than cudos. There is no need to get in a tight about somebody else post. If there post doesn't apply to you than just keep it moving. I am 36 yo and do not have time for hormonal women who's lacking attention from home and need someone to take it out on. Take your personal problem up with the right somebody!
Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
-UPDATE- what is your kids birthday?! I know we have a post of our EDDs, but do we have a post listing our kids actual birthday (in a list easier to read than the comments in the birth announcement post)?!
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
My son starts kindergarten in a month. I went to the schools website to try to find a list of supplies they need. One thing is headphones for iPad...I hate that schools are starting to do this!!!! A lot of kids already have an iPad or kindle or some sort of technology at home, school should be a break from it! Also why would you give a 6 year old an iPad & expect it to be in the same exact condition at the end of the year!?! Does your kids school have iPads?

I think taking a break every once in awhile is healthy. Talk badly about your children isn't a good thing. But I would go insane if I didn't have at least a night every once in awhile that my parents take my kids for me.

I can honestly say that when my kids are acting up badly that I can handle how much they are getting on my nerves and I have to leave the room and take a minute so I don't end up blowing up on them. The chick that is talking about running a daycare and how she will NEVER want a break from her own kids if she has them I kinda think is full of shit. she has no idea what it's like to be a mom so she couldn't really say how she would feel. All moms I think should be forced to take a break every once in awhile. Its healthy for you to at least have some me time or adult time.
