So pissed... So my boss (I'm a nanny) decided not to tell me she quit schooling and her job for the next 6 months and of course I'm due in a little under 4 months. Not to mention I was supposed to go to work on Monday! And she didn't tell me until I texted her asking if she goes in on Monday .... I have bent over backwards for that family so the least she could've done was let me know she was thinking about it so that I could look for other ways to earn money instead of possibly letting me know the night before I go in to tell me... So now I'm sitting here with no job and $1 to my name because she didn't let me know beforehand so I could have saved/ looked for another job to do

@rhonda.otero, yes, they've known since before it got confirmed by the doctors that I was. I was working 6 days a week when I found out and two weeks ago she cut me down to working only 3 days and I've only worked a week since she gave me the new schedule and she tells me she has quit but may need me periodically... But of course with a baby on the way I need something more consistent then 30$ maybe every 2 weeks if I'm lucky
Were they paying you under the table or through a company??
That's horrible and they know you're expecting?
Have you got on wic and food stamps?
