have any of you ladies had real bad morning sickness in you first trimester and they give you meds for it

yes mines been horrible since 5 weeks they gave me Diclegis didn't work reglan didn't work and now zofran@chenhemp

mine start when I hit 7 weeks and they give me zofran it works great but I stopped taking it because im scared

I heard of the zofran. try brushing your teeth when you first wake up. I think that helped me with my first pregnancy

OB took it her entire pregnancy and her baby is fine. people just blame stuff on medications.@chenhemp, zofran is the only thing that works for me @0816mommy I've tried that it makes it worse lol

i take zofran and fenergan through an iv since the first trimester

I really don't like eating cause everything comes right back up zofran did help but I want to see what other meds they have or wait since I'm about to hit second trimester and see if it stop or let up some @callumsmommy @0816mommy this is the first time having morning sickness that was this bad n needed meds

I took Zofran and it was wonderful. I did a ton of research on it since this is a rainbow pregnancy. Zofran did in fact cause birth defects when first tested in Germany 60 years ago. I think this is why it is so scary. It is approved by the FDA and the risks for birth defects are insanely low, much lower than your chance of harming baby due to dehydration from morning sickness. If your OB prescribed it, it is in your best interest to take it. I hope you feel better soon.

I had it ready bad in my first trimester I was scared to take anything so I just stuck it out I kept saltines on me all day and Canada Dry ginger ale it helped but I lost so much weight in my 1st trimester but I definitely don't have any problems now and I'm 17wks

And I would sit down instead of lay down for at least 10 minutes after I ate lol it was annoying but it worked

I tried that for 2 weeks it didn't work I had my appointment on the 4 n I'm 118 now now since I went to the ER I have to go back to the doctor I'm 12w*5d
