so I don't know if I'm the only one ,but don't get me wrong I love my grandmother it's just I don't know what to say to her some times when I know she means will .but here lately she been telling me I can and can't do stuff like reaching above my head because the cord will rap around the baby's neck
it's not true I look it up (went through this with my first pregnancy ) if your baby is born with the cord around it's neck has nothing to do with you reaching over your head I did my own hair throughout all my pregnancies and none of my kids came out with the cord around their neck
yes it can happens I had a cousin who kept reaching for stuff and the doctor had to remove cord from baby neck @serenity565
ok, so my grama told me the exact same thing.... I was SO incredibly worried that I had already done that!! I started to cry! then she tells me it's a myth?!? I'm like...wth?! I'm new to this pregnancy thing, why would u do that to me???
so I told my Dr... and she said that it's SO not true... I was like...I thought it wasn't, bc really... how the hell are u supposed to wash ur hair?! or put ur hair up if u can't raise ur arms above ur head...tf.... uhg...I'm just gonna tell u now, the cord being wrapped around the babies neck, CAN happen, but during labor it's an easy, quick fix.
