Im starting to freak out about not having enough maternity leave before going back to work. 😔 How have other moms felt having to leave newborn to go back to work within a couple of months?
Maternity leave Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier

When did everyone go on maternity leave from work or when are you planning on going?
I go back to work on Monday after 7 months of staying home with my love. I am not ready I am having a panic attack I just don’t want to go back. Not ready just scare to leave him for so long.

@mjbaby2016, I am a FTM too! If you trust the person that is watching your baby it makes things a million times better. On your lunch and breaks you can maybe video chat or even have your family member send you pictures throughout the day. I am sure it will be tough at first but it will get better. Just imagine how excited baby will be when mom gets off of work. I am sure you will be fine. There are lots of moms that need to go back to work. Part of supporting your little bundle of joy. You will always have us here to talk to! 😀

I'm dropping my hrs to 25hrs a weeks. hubby going to come home from work around 430 and I go to work 5-930pm We can't afford childcare but can't afford me not working since we are getting a new house. I don't want to leave my baby girl it be hard

I work with kids and don't want to send mine to one until at least 3yrs lol @mommyholly

@mommyholly, I'm nervous about all of it lol...mainly being away from him after such a short period of time. I think we will be having a family member watch him at least for the first year...I'm a ftm and am getting nervous about everything probably because it's all coming so fast all of a sudden lol...

@mommyholly, that'd be nice...if I could afford it I would be out until July 9th, but my boyfriend has 3 other kids, sooo what I thought I could do I no longer can...😞...

My sister was able to take 3 months. She was fine going back to work but mostly because our mother watches her. I will be going back after 6 months. I use to work at a daycare for about year...I will personally not put my child in one until he is a year old. Makes me too nervous. I will go back to work after 6 months for 30 hours and half that time I will work from home.
