When did everyone go on maternity leave from work or when are you planning on going?
@g.goulsbra Yeah that's fair enough. Sounds like a significant risk x
I work in a school for boys that have been excluded from mainstream, they all suffer behavioural issues and physical restraints are common to have to give as they lash out and become violent. Not the safest place to be whilst pregnant! Although as of September I will be with the older ones and going out to college with them so that will be much safer. Depending on how I find it I may go as early as possible, baby’s safety is first - although if I feel ok and safe I may stay until a month or so before baby is due 😊
Im last day was yesterday. I’m so so tired now I’m glad I am x
@abbyrose definitely agree with that xx
@pearce5443 thanks hun... I think any job is hard when your pregnant it takes it out of you xx
@abbyrose I'm just a shop assistant and I'm struggling so take my hat of to you for going so long in such a strenuous job xx
@pearce5443 was very hard don't think I would do it again😂xx
@surraya1983 Yeah I'm pretty exhausted to lol. I guess we just have to listen to our bodies we will know if it becomes to much xx
@abbyrose wow I bet that was hard. Good on you going up to 35 weeks. Xx
@taylorbx That's what I wanted to do. Work right up until the end so I could have as much time with baby as possible xx
@jennyrodd88 sorry to hear your work aren't treating you very nice. There's no need for it. Some employers really do act like it's such an inconvenience don't they. X
I’m planning on working right up until my due date, but starting to feel exhausted already, so I might have to rethink. I’m a lecturer thought and September/October are our busiest times, so I won’t be that much earlier.xx
@pearce5443 yeah it's hard, but I'm glad I went off when I did...depends what work an hour's you do aswell...im a nursing assistant and I was doing 3, 12 hour shifts in a row and all heavy work x
I work in an office and planning to work until a week before I’m due, going down to 3 days a week 6 weeks before though to make it easier x
@jennyrodd88, thought you could go on maternity at 26 weeks xx
37 with my son, he was born the day after I finished. This time I’m starting at 29 weeks (earliest I can) as they’re treating me like sh*t and pushing me out so I’ve had enough 😆
@mummyandhertwoboys My employer doesn't pay mat leave so I will only get statutory. I'm not sure what my options are at the moment xxx
@pearce5443 I'll be going on mat leave 28th of August and going back to work 28 of September xx
@abbyrose @lauramackay2016 @mummyandhertwoboys I'm worried about going to early because I want as much time with baby as possible xx
@tamla.sabrina yeah it's not easy xx
@shannonmiguel Yeah I'm going to keep struggling on xx
@pearce5443, am the same & being a single mom of 3 already you just get so worn out xxx
@nataliielouiseexo @shannonmiguel @tamla.sabrina My plan is to go at 36 weeks. I'm really really struggling with pain and tiredness though xx
I’ve been woundering the same thing although I want to leave now 🤦🏼♀️🤣 x

Mamas that had morning sickness! ....when did it finally go away? 2 trimester is just a couple short weeks away and I’m hopeful this nausea will go away when I get there!
@nataliielouiseexo @shannonmiguel @tamla.sabrina My plan is to go at 36 weeks. I'm really really struggling with pain and tiredness though xx
